Design of anniversary pin

Hard Rock Cafe proposed the creation of a pin for their Valencia collection, with the goal of capturing the city’s culture and vibrant atmosphere while staying true to the brand’s musical concept. The design was inspired by retro aesthetics and iconic elements commonly encountered while visiting Valencia. More than just an accessory, the pin was conceived as a small work of art that reflects a passion for music and the city’s cultural heritage, allowing visitors to take a meaningful piece of Valencia with them.

Valencia is widely known for its delicious paella, picturesque beaches, distinctive architecture, oranges, and the Fallas festival. While these elements strongly define the city, this project focuses on a more artisanal cultural detail: the traditional ceramic tiles found in the Cabanyal neighborhood. These tiles are a subtle yet powerful symbol of local identity. For this reason, a pattern composed of multiple tile designs was created, using a retro-inspired color palette. The tile decoration was applied to a cassette element, directly linking the cultural reference with the musical essence of Hard Rock Cafe.

As part of the reward, the pin was produced as a limited-edition object and is currently available for purchase at the Hard Rock Shop in Valencia.
