The design of a snack box can be a true reflection of the fun and creativity behind the product. This project was proposed by Velarte, a company specializing in baked snack products. During the briefing, the goal was to create packaging for tomato and cheese flavored snacks. With no strict concept or limitations, the project allowed complete creative freedom, from visual language to packaging form, encouraging experimentation and playful exploration of ideas.

The inspiration for this project came from the existing concept of Velarte’s Sabe a lo Bueno snacks that stands for the idea of finding joy in small, everyday moments. The design aims to capture that simple experience that makes us smile, such as sharing food, spending time outdoors, and enjoying casual gatherings. The central concept is a picnic, expressed through hand drawn, sketch style illustrations of food elements, picnic scene in general, with a warm color palette.
Through illustration, color, and composition, the packaging becomes more than a container for snacks. It communicates a sense of summer, shared moments, and lighthearted enjoyment, highlighting the idea that food is closely connected to memories, emotions, and simple pleasures. The box is also designed to be used as a practical plate, allowing it to be placed anywhere and making it easy to share snacks with everyone.
